Interactive Map showing the location of Tasmania in Relation to Mainland Australia.
Remote it may be, but it is certainly not backward. Tasmania offers a chance to experience real contrasts, from dramatic coastlines to rolling farmlands, from stark alpine landscapes to the wild beauty of an old growth rainforest, from the charm of a beautifully preserved 1800's Historic village to modern cities like Hobart and Launceston.
All this with very comfortable and well located accommodations, food and wine to die for ... and a happy, outgoing and cultured population. Tasmania is most civilized, but is also among the wildest remote destinations in the world. We will take an armchair to the wilderness.
This exclusive 13 Night Tasmanian experience will be personally led by the owners of Tasmania.com, Gayle and Michael Hawker. It will be an opportunity to burrow under the skin of the Island State of Australia with locals, experiencing it at ground and sea level, moving around by luxury coach, but getting the opportunity to explore on foot, by rail or by boat where it heightens the experience.

You will be personally guided and informed every step of the way.
Some meals are included (with an optional Meals Package purchase available), and will be in restaurants picked for their presentation of Tasmanian seafood, meats, cheeses and produce. Some included lunches will be picnics out in the bush, some included dinners outdoor bush barbecues.
Together we will investigate the essential nature of the Island, while joining the locals to study the impact of Western man on this pristine environment.
This will be an exhilarating experience, one that moves slowly enough to discover the wildlife and the lifestyle, yet moves quickly enough to explore the differences that make Tasmania one of the most fascinating places on Earth.
To make certain that the dynamics of the trip are personal and attention can be paid to each participant, the group size will be strictly limited to 18 adults and two guides.
Seats will be filled on a first come, first deposited basis.
